Cell Phone Policy
Cell Phones at Marine View
Students are permitted to have cell phones on campus; however, they must be turned off when students arrive on campus and shall remain off during school hours ("Bell to Bell"). Cell phones causing a disruption will be taken.
1st Offense: Warning; student will pick up phone from front office after school.
2nd Offense: Parent/Guardian will be notified, & phone will be released to parent/guardian only.
3rd Offense: Parent/Guardian will be notified, & phone will be released to parent/guardian only. Student must drop off phone each morning to the front office before school until the end of the school year.
4th Offense or more: Parent/Guardian will be notified, & phone will be released to parent/guardian only. Student must stay one hour after school to read and take notes on the student handbook.
Marine View is not responsible for lost or stolen phones or electronic devices.
